Right-handed free agent pitcher Jake Peavy agreed to a two-year, $24 million deal with the San Francisco Giants, according to multiple reports Friday.

ESPN.com reported that the deal will pay Peavy base salaries of $7 million in 2015 and $13 million in 2016. It includes a $4 million signing bonus, a full no-trade clause and an awards package.

The 33-year-old Peavy was 6-4 with a 2.17 ERA for the Giants after an in-season trade with the Boston Red Sox. He did not duplicate his regular-season success during the postseason, going 1-2, including 0-2 with a 12.79 ERA in the World Series. Before the trade, Peavy was 1-9 with a 4.72 ERA in 20 starts for the Red Sox.
