The Pittsburgh Pirates called up right-handed reliever Deolis Guerra from Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday.
The 26-year-old Guerra’s first appearance in a game will be his major league debut.
Guerra has gone 2-1 with a 1.23 ERA over 36 2/3 innings in 25 relief appearances for Indianapolis this season.
