New York Mets outfield prospect Michael Conforto could debut Friday after being recalled to replace Michael Cuddyer.

Conforto was drafted 10th overall in the 2014 draft and is ranked as the No. 1 position prospect in the organization. The Mets’ offense has been an issue of late. Conforto had a .311 batting average in the minors, including .312 with five home runs and 12 doubles in 2015.

Cuddyer was sidelined by a knee injury for nearly two weeks and played in just two games during that span.

Conforto is the No. 12 prospect overall in the minor leagues according to ESPN’s Keith Law.
