Ex-Dodgers OF Guerrero suffers brain bleed

Former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Pedro Guerrero is intensive care in a Dominican Republic hospital after suffering minor bleeding in his brain.

The 58-year-old Guerrero was taken to the hospital on Sunday by his wife after losing mobility in his left arm.

Guerrero has recovered mobility in his arm, according to multiple reports, and he is in “good spirits.”

Guerrero spent 15 years in the major leagues and shared MVP honors with teammates Ron Cey and Steve Yeager in the 1981 World Series. The Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees.

He last played in the majors with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1992. He had a career batting average of .300 with 215 home runs and 898 RBIs. He was elected to the All-Star team five times.
