The Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night acquired outfielder Chris Heisey from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for right-hander Matt Magill.
The Dodgers already have a glut of outfielders including Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig, Andre Ethier and Carl Crawford.
The 29-year-old Heisey is a .247 career hitter with 50 home runs.
Magill, 25, has a 2-0 career record.
