The Colorado Rockies reached agreement Tuesday with infielder Daniel Descalso on a two-year, $3.6 million contract.
Descalso was non-tendered by the Cardinals two weeks ago after four-plus seasons with St. Louis in full- and part-time roles.
The 28-year-old Descalso batted .244 with no home runs and 10 RBIs in 104 games last season for the Cardinals. He has a career batting average of .243 with 10 homers and 111 RBIs in 529 games.
