PHOENIX — All Welington Castillo needed, it seems, was a chance.

Since arriving in Arizona, Castillo has been one of the Diamondbacks’ most productive hitters, and he was at it again Monday.

The catcher’s tiebreaking RBI double sparked a four-run eighth inning and helped Arizona earn a 10-6 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chase Field.

“His swing is starting to really come, and we knew that when we were trying to trade for him in spring training,” Arizona manager Chip Hale said. “If he got enough at-bats, his swing would be one that would work here and help us win.”

Castillo has 12 RBIs in 15 games since being acquired from the Seattle Mariners in the Mark Trumbo trade on June 3. His three-run homer in the second inning Sunday started the Diamondbacks on their way to a 6-4 victory in San Diego. He has four doubles and four homers for Arizona.

“It’s always good playing every day because you keep your body in shape and you see more pitches,” said Castillo, who hit 13 homers with the Chicago Cubs last year. “You have more chance to do well. I know I can hit a little bit, but I don’t worry about my offense.”

First baseman Paul Goldschmidt’s two-run single capped a four-run eighth inning.

The Diamondbacks, who trailed 4-0 early, broke loose after Los Angeles starter Mike Bolsinger left the game with flu-like symptoms following four scoreless innings.

Shortstop Nick Ahmed and right fielder Yasmany Tomas hit two-run homers for the Diamondbacks, who scored 10 runs in their final four at-bats. Arizona managed only three singles off Bolsinger, two of them infield singles.

Arizona third baseman Jake Lamb drew a walk from right-hander Pedro Baez (1-1) to open the eighth inning before Castillo doubled for a 7-6 lead. Castillo scored on a throwing error by Baez after second baseman Chris Owings’ bunt single. Goldschmidt’s single finished the rally.

Right-hander Enrique Burgos (1-2) pitched a scoreless eighth inning. He earned his first major league victory for Arizona (37-39), which lost three of its previous four games.

Left fielder Andre Ethier had three hits for the Dodgers (43-35), who had won four of five. They used six relievers in four innings after Bolsinger was forced out.

Ethier, catcher Yasmani Grandal and center fielder Joc Pederson hit bases-empty homers in the fourth inning to increase the Dodgers’ lead to 4-0 lead off Arizona starter Allen Webster.

Shortstop Jimmy Rollins’ two-run single gave the Dodgers a 6-4 lead in the seventh inning before Arizona left fielder David Peralta’s two-run triple off left-hander Adam Liberatore tied the game in the last of the seventh. Those were Peralta’s first two RBIs against a lefty this season.

Bolsinger, who made his major league debut for the Diamondbacks last season, struck out four and did not walk a batter.

“Early on, we worried about him getting though the first inning,” Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. “To be honest with you, we didn’t know what we were going to get. Each inning was kind of its own adventure. He was cramping up in the fourth. He really kind of battled his way though those. He gave us more than we thought we would get.”

Webster gave up five hits, four runs and four walks in 3 2/3 innings. He threw 14 balls in the first inning. Bolsinger threw 14 balls in four innings.

“I think it is more eating something bad,” Bolsinger said. “I don’t think I have the flu. I guess that will teach me to eat oysters again.”

Goldschmidt, Ahmed, Castillo, Owings and Peralta had two hits apiece for Arizona. The umpires reviewed Tomas’ home run in the fourth because it hit a fan in the forearm as he reached over the left field fence, but the homer stood.

“We’re trying to rule if it hadn’t hit the fan, what would have happened,” crew chief Mike Winters told a pool reporter. “The ruling on the field was, the ball was going to leave the yard, and that’s what they came up with also.”

NOTES: Arizona starter RHP Allen Webster was the Dodgers’ 18th-round pick in the 2008 draft out of a North Carolina high school. Dodgers RHP Mike Bolsinger was Arizona’s 15th-round pick in the 2010 draft out of the University of Arkansas. … Monday was the 25th anniversary of the no-hitters by Oakland’s Dave Stewart and the Dodgers’ Fernando Valenzuela, the only time two no-hitters were thrown on the same day. Stewart, now Arizona’s general manager, beat Toronto 5-0 a few hours before Valenzuela beat St. Louis 6-0. … LHP Patrick Corbin will make one more rehab start, Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said, before joining the Arizona rotation for a start against Texas on July 7 or July 8. … Arizona RHP Archie Bradley (shoulder tendinitis) is scheduled to see Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday for a second opinion. An MRI exam in early June showed no structural damage, but Bradley felt discomfort in a 63-pitch rehab outing for Triple-A Reno last Wednesday.
