Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not practice again on Thursday and the likelihood of him playing Sunday in Minnesota is bleak.

The Detroit Free Press reported Johnson is unlikely to play after suffering a high ankle sprain on his only catch in last week’s game against Buffalo.

The week before, he also was hobbled by an injured ankle and was basically a decoy against the Jets.

Running back Reggie Bush also missed practice Thursday with a bum ankle. His prospects of playing, though, are greater than Johnson’s.

“Ankle’s good,” Bush told a Detroit radio station. “It feels good. I’m preparing this week. You saw me walk in here, I look good. No limp … No, the ankle feels good. It’s nothing severe. I’m going to prepare this week as if I’m playing.”
