The Cleveland Indians announced Tuesday that their No. 1 minor-league prospect has been invited to Major League camp.
Shortstop Francisco Lindor will be joined by catcher Jake Lowery, outfielders Tyler Naquin, Jordan Smith and James Ramsey.
Lindor, 21, split the 2014 campaign between AA Akron and AAA Columbus, where he hit a combined .276 with 16 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 62 RBIs and 75 runs scored in 126 games. He also stole 28 stolen bases.
