The Boston Red Sox recalled center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. on Tuesday from the minor leagues.

The 25-year-old Bradley started the season in Triple-A after he was sent to Pawtucket at the end of spring training.

In two years with the Red Sox, Bradley has played in 164 games and has a .196 batting average with four homers and 40 RBIs. Last year, he played in 127 games for Boston and batted .198.

The Red Sox are looking for outfield depth after placing Shane Victorino on the disabled list last week and with Allen Craig and Daniel Nava struggling at the plate. Mookie Betts has started 18 games in center field for Boston during the first month of the season.
