UCLA starting quarterback Brett Hundley has been wearing a brace on his left arm during practice, but it appears he will be ready to play when the No. 11 Bruins and No. 15 Arizona State face off in a Pac-12 South showdown on Thursday.

While there might be some uncertainty to Hundley’s status — UCLA head coach Jim Mora wouldn’t confirm Sunday if Hundley was healthy enough to play — there is no doubt about the status of Arizona State’s quarterback.

Taylor Kelly will remain on the Sun Devils sideline with a foot injury suffered in last week’s win over Colorado.

Hundley injured his left elbow in UCLA’s 20-17 win over Texas on Sept. 13. Mora was being coy when talking about Hundley’s status, saying it was up to the medical staff to clear Hundley to play.

If Hundley is not cleared, Mora will turn to backup Jerry Neuheisel, who filled in after Hundley was hurt against the Longhorns. The sophomore completed 23 of 30 passes for 178 yards with two touchdowns in the Bruins’ come-from-behind win over Texas.
