Notre Dame running back Greg Bryant is expected to miss the first four games of the 2015 season to serve a suspension for violating team rules.

According to multiple reports, Bryant will begin serving his suspension Sept. 5, when the Fighting Irish play Texas.

New running backs coach Autry Denson is sorting through a depth chart with little experience, although the team’s leading rusher last season, Tarean Folston, is back.
Senior wide receiver C.J. Prosise worked at running back in some spring practices. The only other player on the roster with running back experience is wide receiver Amir Carlisle.

Two highly regarded freshman running backs, Josh Adams and Dexter Williams, could be called on to contribute this season.
