USC All-American wide receiver Marqise Lee, who missed the Trojans game against Arizona last Saturday because of a sprained knee, is expected to play in this Saturday’s game at Notre Dame.

The USC athletic department’s official Twitter account posted an update on Tuesday, which read: “USC WR Marqise Lee participated in an early portion of practice today and he expects to be 100% and good to go by Saturday at Notre Dame.”

Lee injured his knee two weeks ago against Arizona State. When the injury occurred it appeared it might end Lee’s season, but it was later discovered that no ligaments had been torn.

Lee has 30 receptions for 385 yards and one touchdowns in five games this season. He is also averaging 19.8 yards on five kickoff returns this year.

Without Lee, USC piled up 546 total yards and 297 passing yards, both season highs, in the victory over Arizona. That was USC’s first game since Lane Kiffin was fired as head coach.
