Baylor wide receiver Clay Fuller has a broken clavicle after attempting a diving catch during practice Friday, according to multiple reports.
Fuller is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks. He does not need surgery at this point.
If Fuller recovers quickly enough, he could return by the Bears’ Sept. 27 game against Iowa State. Baylor has a bye the following week and then plays at Texas on Oct. 4.
Last season, Fuller was fifth on the team with 32 receptions for 512 yards.
